Inclement Weather

The County offices will not normally close because of inclement weather. In the event employees are unable to make it to work, they are to call their Supervisor as soon as possible. Time lost will be deducted from available vacation or compensatory time. If inclement weather occurs during the work day and employees wish to leave early, approval must be obtained from their Supervisor and the lost time will be deducted from available vacation or compensatory time.
