Nutrition Education Program

We have a Nutrition Program Nutritionist to do nutrition education activities such as: group meetings in specific disease prevention, one-on-one nutrition counseling; publication of nutrition educational articles in the Life & Times newsletter; and on-site presentations at congregate nutrition sites.

"A Special Program for People with Impaired Vision"

This program is a source of support and information for people experiencing decreasing sight or blindness. Volunteers read each issue of the local weekly newspapers of the participant's choice and monthly Senior Life and Times newsletter onto audio tapes. When finished listening to the paper, the tape is mailed back to the coordinator in a postage-free mailer.
