Q:  Where do I find how much my taxes are and how to pay them?

A:  The Trempealeau County Treasurer prints and distributes the Tax Bills.

Q:  Where do I find Assessment information for my Parcels?

A:  The Real Property Lister works with the local Assessors to maintain the Tax rolls.

Q:  How do I get a copy of an Ariel photo with property lines on it?

A:  The Land Records office can print a copy of you parcel line overlaid on the photo.  This is NOT a survey of your Parcel.  There is a fee for this service and is charged according to the fee schedule adopted by the Executive and Finance Committee. This is also available online free of charge.

Q:  Where do I find out how my property is Zoned?

A:  The Department of Land Management is responsible for the Zoning Ordinance.  You can use the Trempealeau County Mapping Service to see what your parcels are zoned.

Q: Where do I buy a Plat Book?

A:  Plat Books are a product of Trempealeau County Land Information and are produced as a fundraiser for 4-H from UW-Extension.  You can purchase them from U-W Extension as well as many departments in the Courthouse such as Land Records and Register of Deeds and other locations within the County (see link below).
