Sheriff’s Department Records

Open records requests can be made at the Sheriff’s Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, or by mailing them to:

Requestors should complete the Request for Records form available from this web site.  Most requests will receive a reply within ten working days. 

 

 

 Typical requests include accident reports, incident reports, individual contact records, photographs, videotapes, audiotapes, CD’s and DVD’s.  Records can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Department or mailed to the requestor.   

Pre-payment and a self-addressed envelope are required for each request based on the following fees: 

 Accident/Incident Reports - $3.00 each

 35 mm Photos - $1.00 each

Digital Photos - $1.00 per page

 Video Tapes - $10.00 each

 DVD’s - $10.00 each 

CD’s - $10.00 each

 Audio Cassettes - $10.00 each

 Postage – 1st Class Rate (if returned by mail)

 Large requests -  $.25 per page + hourly wage for copy time

(Requests involving multiple copies & resulting in more than one hour to copy requested information)

Criminal History Checks 

For Criminal History Records, you must complete a Criminal History Record Request form and mail to:

  Request Form
